Automotive - ISO/TS 16949
This is a technical specification related to requirements for the application of ISO 9001 in mass and spare parts production in the automotive industry. Indeed ISO/TS 16949 aims to promote the development of a quality management system geared at ongoing improvement. This is to be achieved by preventing defects and reducing wastage in the supply chain which plays an increasingly important role in both the design and production of automobiles. In addition to the prerogatives of ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 includes specific sectoral requirements for the production and supply of services, awareness and training of workers, design and development, checking of measurement instruments and analysis and improvement.
Oil, petrochemical and natural gas industries - ISO/TS 29001
ISO/TS 29001 is a technical specification which integrates ISO 9001 with requirements formulated for the oil, petrochemical and natural gas industries.

Quality system certification for welding - EN ISO 3834

- The effectiveness of the method used for design, implementation and monitoring of products manufactured by welding;
- The guarantee that the phase of construction is feasible and in accordance with the provisions of the project.
- Safety, both for those persons involved in the implementation phase and for end users.
- Production in suitable time.
- Use of appropriate technique ensuring constantly good quality of the product.
Benefits:
- Definition of welding requirements, i.e. a guideline for the testing / qualification of suppliers of welded products.
- Definition and maintenance of quality requirements for welding.
- Provision of rules and standards for compliance with welding quality demands.
- Valid integration of standard ISO 9001 as a guideline for the management of "special process" welding.
- Demonstration of compliance with quality requirements of customer specifications and welding application of rules can be easily provided by TÜV INTERCERT GmbH certification.
- Avoidance of multiple certifications for manufacturers operating internationally or in different sectors means cost savings. (Example: In the production of steel structures or pressure equipment, subject to European directives, also the manufacturing plants as well as the montage companies can demonstrate the compliance to the quality requirements on the means of an EN ISO 3834 certificate)

5S Methodology
Summary: 5S is Nippon concept for workplace keeping; the name derives from five words that in Japanese start with letter “S”. The decision-making process usually comes from a dialogue about standardization, which builds understanding among employees of how they should do the work. The original concept of 5S has been twisted and partially lost: at first its real meaning was referred to five “good qualities” of a virtuous person or company, the transliteration or translation altered them as step of a process, and for this reason strongly within the framework of standard ISO.
Target of the standard: The list describes how to organize a workplace for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and useful items, and sustaining the new order, passing through 5 steps:
- Seiri – Sorting, remove what is not needed and keep what is needed.
- Seiton – Straightening, arranging properly tools, parts and instructions in such a way that the most frequently used items are the easiest and quickest to locate.
- Seiso – Sweeping, keep things clean and polished; no trash or dirt in the workplace.
- Seiketsu – Standardizing, maintain cleanliness after cleaning – perpetual cleaning.
- Shitsuke – Sustaining, maintain and review standards and do not allow a gradual decline back to the old ways.
For whom?: For every company, especially for industrial, installing, automotive sectors.
Benefits: TÜV INTERCERT got knowledge and qualified personnel to verify the efficient and effective application of 5S methodology, providing to companies:
- a prestigious attestation,
- successful and continuous improvement,
- collective collaboration,
- sense of belonging,
- participation for one goal.
